Crown & Bridge
Crowns (or caps) are dental restorations that are placed over a tooth when conservative restorations are insufficient to restore form and function. A bridge serves to replace a missing tooth or teeth. One type of bridge consists of crowns placed on either side of the missing tooth to connect the replacement tooth or teeth to them. Another type of bridge consists of the replacement tooth attached to the adjacent teeth with wing-like appendages. Bridges may also be supported by dental implants.
Natural-looking crowns and bridges may be an ideal solution to replace or support missing or damaged teeth. Because Dr. Schnall uses state-of-the-art equipment, these procedures are much simpler and the results are much more aesthetically pleasing than ever before. Dr. Schnall does not use any non-precious base metals (which are less aesthetic and have been documented as a source for possible allergic reactions) in their crowns. They use high-quality, porcelain fused to gold crowns and the new generation of all-ceramic crowns, which are extremely durable and offer a highly aesthetic result.
